Well not really but I thought I would add something to the page. Mostly to show it’s not dead. I’m working on updating my repeater list as well as a page for links to things that intrigue me. I know the links thing is kind of oldschool but I always enjoy them when i visit other poeple’s blogs.

Got to love the iPhone. Not sure how I lived without it. The nicest thing is I can post to this blog from my phone without an app. Ohh the simple things in life.

Well storm’s blew threw the area last night. We have dodged most of them in the past. Unfortunately not this time. The strait line wind blew about 60 to 80 mph. Part of the shingles on my roof decided not to stay put and migrated to the front yard.

But I will say the lightning show was very spectacular to say the least.The best part is they are talking rain all week.The damage was wide spreed around the area and some people got it worse than me. I just hope the insurance company works quickly.

Round two is about to start and the sky is getting black again. A local ham radio spotter just reported 70 mph winds on the west side of the county. Gotta love this time of the year.

Well I’m a bit late but I now have two new grandkids. My oldest son Kelly and his wife just had a set of twins. Kelly III and Violet. For some reason Firefox keeps crashing every time I try to upload a picture. So as soon as I find the problem I’ll get pixs of the twins posted.

Not that I watch American Idol at all but the wife does. Walking past the TV tonight I hear what sounds like the untimely execution of a cat. But no cats was harmed it was Paula Abdul. What a sad attempt at a come back. Ok no more mention of this. Just had to say it.
